When your ready to start the journey towards your new home make contact via phone or email and we will book a time for a face to face consultation. We can meet on your piece of land or in our office. We will have a relaxed chat and get a feel for your vision, requirements, budget and begin working on a comprehensive design brief.
Our range of unique designs is a great place to start, we will work closely with our design partner, DF Design to select a plan that works for you and we will adapt it to suit your brief and and your building site. Once the Design Brief is finished we can provide you with a fixed price contract for your design and working drawings. This price will be for a full set of working drawings finished to a stage ready for council submission for building consent. Once this contract and the designs are complete you will have full ownership of your plan set. You be required to make a deposit at the time of signing the contract.
Now that the acceptance of the contract is complete work will begin on the plans and working drawings, this is a 4 Stage process including Stage 1 - Pre Design, Site Visit & Site Analysis, Stage 2 - Concept Designs, Stage 3 - Preliminary design, and Stage 4 Developed Design. You will be actively involved in the design and will be kept informed throughout the entire process.
Once the design, working drawings, and costings are complete we will present you with a fixed price contract for the build. You will enter into a Registered Master Builder contract.
The contract outlines the fixed costs, payment structure, and and a whole lot of valuable information to help protect both you as the client and assist us in running a successful business.
You will also be provide with detailed specifications and inclusions to ensure you are informed and your budget is not compromised.
The contract acts as a legal agreement between you and Cassa Building & Design Ltd. Upon signing the contract document you will also be required to make a deposit.
Before the fun part begins you will have the final pre-construction consultation where the finer details of the build are confirmed such as colour schedules for the joinery, roof, and paint colours. Our project manager will explain the construction process of your new home to you in detail before work begins.
The build of your new home will be overseen by Andre Mayo of Cassa Homes acting as Project Manager. You will be kept informed throughout the build by way of planned site visits, email updates, phone calls, and progress photo updates.
During the build Cassa Homes will comply with all building code and regulatory requirements as well as regular quality assurance checks by the project manager and qualified site foreman.
Once construction is completed and the necessary council inspections signed off, Cassa Homes will action 'Practical Completion' and initiate the '10 Year Master Builder Guarantee'. Your Code of Compliance Certificate application will be submitted and hand over can begin.
We will arrange a date for you to move into your home, help you settle in and arrange a final hand over quality checklist is completed with one of our foreman. You will then be presented with a gift basket and the Keys to your new home.
At Cassa Homes we are proud of what we do and it end when you move in. We offer a 180 day After Care maintenance period which covers any maintenance issues that may arise and ensures remedial work is carried out quickly and efficiently. We will also provide you with comprehensive maintenance schedules and checklist so you can take care of your new home within the warranty and guarantee guidelines. This combined with the Master Builders 10 Year Guarantee ensure peace of mind and the quality of your home lasts for many years to come.
